The revitalization of downtown Augusta is hampered, in part, by a perception that it is dangerous. While there are incidents of crime, some violent, the reputation is not consistent with statistics and day-to-day interaction. The Oasis Mobile Art Project (TOMAP) proposes a pilot program, “Downtown Stories: Augusta Edition”
